Q3 2024 data preview
In Q3 2024, diesel prices continued their downward trend, reaching their lowest levels of the year by September. Despite the relief in fuel costs, profitability challenges remained for carriers, particularly in the dry van and flatbed markets. While reefer lanes showed some improvement, over 50% of lanes across all equipment types were still unprofitable, going to unprofitable markets.
